Snow Removal Policy, 2018-2019

RE: 2018-2019 SNOW REMOVAL POLICY

THE FOLLOWING IS A CHANGE IN POLICY. PLEASE READ AND KEEP HANDY!!

In order to effectively and efficiently remove snow from the property, we will operate according to the following policy:

  • Throughout each snowstorm, Outdoor Associates Landscape Contractors will keep all fire lanes, walkways, stairways, and driveways cleared. This will be done every 2-3 inches, so that cars and safety vehicles can access the property as needed.
  • Please do not park any vehicles on either side of the dumpster. Road cones will be used to delineate these areas for stacking snow.
  • Outdoor Associates will return to the property periodically during the storm, and most importantly will plan to plow the property completely at approximately 10am on the day the storm ends. In general, if the storm ends before 6am, the clean-up will be on that day. If it ends after 6am, the parking lot must be empty the following day. ALL CARS MUST BE REMOVED ON THE PLOW DAY!!! You run the risk of being towed if you do not cooperate!!
  • PLEASE BE SURE TO USE YOUR PARKING STICKER TO AVOID BEING TOWED FROM THE PARKING LOT. For those who need a new sticker, a board member will be  available in your building’s recreation room on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Because this is not the same company we used last year, please be patient until they have a chance to adjust to this property.

P.S. In general, cars need to move for plowing 3 inches or more of snow!
