New Snow Removal Procedures for 2018-2019

Hi, neighbors!

On November 15, with snow in the forecast, the trustees announced new procedures for snow removal for the coming winter. Here’s an unofficial summary.

  1. We are working with a new company this year (Outdoor Associates) to handle our landscaping and snow removal. Please be patient with them while they work out how they’re handling the job!
  2. They will clear snow from the most important areas approximately every three inches: from the driveways, fire lanes, stairways, and walkways.
  3. When they remove snow, they will pile it by the dumpster, so please leave that area free of parked cars.
  4. If the storm leaves us three inches or snow or more, all cars have to be removed from the lot afterward, so that it can be plowed completely.
  5. Important: the schedule for plowing is new this year.  If the snow ends before 6 a.m., plowing will take place at 10 a.m. that same day.   Otherwise, the following day.
  6. As always, cars that aren’t removed for the plowing are subject to towing.   If your car has a Seville Condo parking sticker, that helps us contact you in case of any problems, so please make sure your car has one.  For details, see the full announcement.
